PAPA ARKO congratulates entire Kotoko team after Nkana win

Former Captain and a member of the 1983 African Cup winning team for the Porcupine Warriors Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, PAPA ARKO (aka B. Marley) has congratulated the Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei, Management, Technical Team and the Playing body for their splendid performance against Nkana fc yesterday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the CAF Confederation Cup Competition.
In an interview with Isaac Owusu Ansah(Ike) on Ashh 101.1fm in Kumasi on Monday after the game against Nkana fc, Papa Arko said the following to show how excited he was after the win;
“I will like to thank Dr. Kwame Kyei for given me the opportunity to meet and talk to the players before the game against Nkana fc at Baba Yara Sports Stadium yesterday”
“I made it known to the players to know the value of the competition they are playing and how important the game was to the supporters”
“The players listened to my advice and did exactly what i told them and it yielded that positive results,so I will like to congratulate the team”
“All the players did well in yesterday’s game but Felix Annan was too exceptional for me because he kept a clean sheet”
“I will also congratulate coach CK Akunnor because he listened to the advice from all the people around the team which led them to such a brilliant performance”
“All the signs I saw yesterday were positive but I will plead to the supporters to be calm and keep supporting the team ahead of the remaining games”
“I know the Coach has experience in the game so we must be calm and keep supporting him to deliver for the team”
“The next game would be crucial more than what they played yesterday but I know the Technical team will work hard on the players before the next game and i hope things will work positively to seal our qualification into the next stage of the Competition”
“I will plead and congratulate the supporters for throwing their support behind Dr Kwame Kyei and his management for how far they have brought the team….it’s my prayer that the team moves higher in the competition to lift the ultimate”
