Kumbun Binbiem Fc play their first-ever Access Bank Division One League match at home on Sunday, 9th October 2022, when they host Wa Yassin at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

Binbiem FC were nailed 1-0 against another newly promoted side Maana SC in Wa last week.

Head coach Alhassan Iddi Manza hopes to get his side back on track after the blip, while Wa Yassin will look to win both of their opening games for the first time this season.

The away side showed the best of their breathless attacking play and dogged defensiveness in last Sunday’s curtain-raising win over Kasena-Kana Fc.

Coach Hannan and Amos Adepa will go toe-to-toe for the first time as managers when Debibi United host Steadfast FC in Sunday’s afternoon kick-off.

After a summer of big spending on young players, Steadfast FC opened the season in the best possible fashion with a scintillating 3-0 victory against old foes Wa Suntaa.

However, Debibi United displayed the grit and determination that promoted them into the competition this year, welcoming Eleven Wonders back the second Tie with an emphatic 2-1 win to take their first three points of the new campaign.

In other matches in Zone 1A, Eleven Wonders will look to bounce back after an early setback in last week defeat to Debibi United as they welcome Maana FC.

In Wa, the Malik Jabri Park will entertain the battle between Wa Suntaa and Kasena-Nakana United.

In Zone 1B

Plenty of eyes will be at the Sunyani Coronation Park to see how B. A United respond to last week’s dismal draw to Nkoranza Warriors against Bofoakwa Tano in the biggest game of the week in the Division One League.

The Hunters showed great resilience to earn a 1-0 win over Baffour Soccer Academy last week and should pose some trouble for their traditionally bigger opponents once more.

Young Apostles and Berekum Arsenal early promotion credentials will be put to the test when they square off at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal lost at home in the opening weekend against Mighty Royals while Young needed a late goal from Galley Divine to kick-start the campaign with victory. However, expect some improvement from Arsenal as they won’t look fragile to their opponents.

The Golden City Park will play host to Nkoranza Warriors Vs Unity FC game.
