Following a meeting on Tuesday by the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), a total sum of $100,000 has been set aside to be disbursed equally ($10,000 each) among all ten Regional Football Associations.
All ten RFAs will receive $4,000 from the first tranche of money in July 2020 and $6,000 from the second tranche of money in January 2021.
In all, FIFA will release a total sum of $1,500,000 and CAF will release $300,000 to each member association.
This will be seen as a huge relief for the Regional Football Associations (RFAs) following the unexpected financial difficulties faced due to the impact of COVID-19.
