Head coach of the National U-17 female team, Baba Nuhu Mallam is appealing to Stakeholders of Real Tamale United especially the Supporters to rally behind Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko, after he qualified the club back to the Ghana Premier League in 8 years.

The Pride of the North received their Prizes including 40 medals, a trophy and a check of 50 thousand Ghana cedis on Sunday in a Coronation match against Steadfast after beating off competition from Bofoakwa Tano on the final day of the Zone 1 League season.

Consequently, the Director at the Tamale Utrecht Football Academy has appealed to lovers of the game to offer the former Hearts of Oak and Medeama coach the needed support to succeed in the top flight.

Notwithstanding his vast experience, having coached some of the country’s finest sides, many have raised eyebrows regarding his capability. But Baba Nuhu Mallam believe with the support of every stakeholder, Coach Tanko will archive big in the Premier League.

He outline the need for supporters to allow Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko to operate without interference. “I want to plead with all stakeholders in RTU to give Coach TANKO their support in his quest to succeed in the premiership” .

“The Board, Management, and Supporters should leave the recruitment of players to the Technical Team to get the right players for the team.
I also want the board to liase with the Technical team to offload and settled the players whose services are not needed any longer on time for them to also find place before the season starts.” Baba Nuhu Mallam said in a statement.

RTU is expected to recruit quality players to augment the squad ahead of the new season which will kick ff somewhere in October.
