Baba Rahaman extend support to Nanumba North Municipality

Black Stars and Chelsea left back Baba Abdul Rahaman has reached out to Four Division Two Clubs in the Nanumba North Municipality as he continues to support grassroot football.

The former Asante Kotoko player last month donated sets of football Equipment to over 52 clubs in the Sagnarigu Municipality and Tamale Metropolis. This kind gesture has however been extended to clubs in Bimbilla as he continues to supports the development of Talents in the North.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Regional Football Association, Chairman of the Nanumba North Municipal Football Association, Nassam Mohammed praised Baba Rahaman for his support and acknowledge the significance of the presentation. He however urged the beneficiary clubs to make use of the items to ensure proper development of the game.

The CAF Lience A certificate holder some weeks ago appealed to Baba Rahaman to extend his philanthropic gesture to his jurisdiction as they lacked football equipment to support talents within Bimbilla and it’s environs.

The Four Division Two clubs each received two footballs and two sets of Bibs from Baba Rahaman. The items were presented by Abdulai Thuram, on behalf of Baba Rahaman who has since joined Chelsea for Pre season ahead of the 2021/22 English Premier League.

The beneficiary clubs include Gmantambo Nationals, Bimbilla New Era, Nanumba Soccer Boys and Bindo Stars.
