Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman is delighted with what he’s seen from Philippe Coutinho in preseason.
Coutinho again featured in yesterday’s friendly against Girona, having also seen minutes in the previous runout with Nastic.
Koeman is pleased with the form of Coutinho, who helped Bayern Munich win the Champions League last season while on-loan.
The Barca coach said, “Philippe is working very well, I think he has a lot of courage, he is training and playing well, he has great quality and we have to take that into account.
“Every player needs support and help from the coach.”
Koeman also said, “I’m looking for the best possible attack. They can occupy different positions in attack and they can change, play right, up … There are many options and we have to take advantage of them.”
