Inter Milan have tempered their ambitions in swap talks with Barcelona for Lautaro Martinez.

That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, which are reporting Inter have made a request for two players from Barca as part of Lautaro’s deal.

Having initially requested the likes of Arthur Melo and even Antoine Griezmann, Inter are now insisting fullback Nelson Semedo and midfielder Carles Alena be included in Barca’s offer.

Inter’s request has been welcomed by Barca, with both players mentioned not regarded as untouchable by management. Semedo has already pulled out of new contract talks with Barca, while Alena is currently on-loan with Real Betis.

Barca will still have to cough up a huge cash fee for Lautaro, however, with Inter insisting the striker won’t leave for anything less than the value of his €111m buyout clause.
