Black Meteors players hold Jum’a prayers in Alexandria

The Muslim players in the Ghana U23 team, the Black Meteors today held their Friday congregational prayers together with the natives around in Alexandria, Egypt.

The Black Meteors put on a strong showing on Thursday during a friendly match with the Egypt U23 team in a game which ended 1-1.

The two national teams locked horns at the Alexandria Stadium in an international friendly match ahead of the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Ghana is expected to play a second friendly while in Egypt before travelling to Morocco next week for the U23 AFCON.
