Newly appointed Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac will earn $30,000 as monthly salary after signing a one-and-a-half-year deal with the Ghana Football Association.

The tenure of agreement is for a year, however, if is able to qualify for the World Cup tournament in Qatar, the contract will be extended to 2023.

The Serbian coach replaces coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor who was sacked by the FA over an uninspiring performance in the World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana are currently second in the standings after two rounds of the qualification matches of the global tournament.

The Serbian has been tasked to lead the Black Stars to a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations triumph in Cameroon next January and also qualify the team to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Rajevac, in his first reign as Ghana’s coach, was named African Coach of the Year in 2010 after impressive outings at the AFCON and World Cup respectively.
