Barca’s new signing Martin Braithwaite made his Barca debut and helped Barca score their last two goals of the night. The 28-year-old was so excited after the match that he (half-jokingly, let’s hope) said he won’t wash his jersey after being hugged by Leo Messi.
“I will not wash my clothes after receiving Messi’s hugs.
“Yes I will admit, I didn’t think I would be playing for Barcelona a week ago.
“Messi has congratulated me. He is a great boy and he wants me to be at ease.”
The Dane was involved in Messi’s fourth goal of the night and in Arthur’s goal. Although the striker didn’t have enough minutes to show his true class, his debut for us seemed nothing like Kevin-Prince Boateng’s one.
