Management of women’s premier league side Northern Ladies have named Hajia Zalia as the head of technical at the club after series of consultations.
The Physical Education Tutor at Business Senior High School, who also is the only female to hold a CAF Licence A coaching certificate in the North, comes in with vast experience in women football development after several years in the game.
The former Exco member of the Northern Regional Football Association and a member of the women’s football committee, is tasked to ensure technical direction in the club and advise when necessary.
Hajia Zalia, a founding member of the team says she’s looking forward to working with a team full of committed officials as the National Women’s League kicks off next year.
