Disqualified former Ghana FA Presidential hopeful Winfred Osei Kweku Palmer is hopeful of a favorable ruling by the much-awaited Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) judgment on his disqualification.

With CAS set to give its ruling on Friday, July 17, the Sporting Director of Division one side Tema Youth FC is quoting Proverbs 21:31 as his hope for the battle ahead.

“A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory is of the LORD” Proverbs 21:31 #GodHasTheFinalSay #P4P Palmer wrote on his official Twitter handle.

Mr. Osei Palmer ran to CAS in October 2019 after the Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association disqualified him for what they term as his failure to pay a 10% transfer fee of player Joseph Paintsil to Belgian side RKC Genk.
