The 10th Annual Foklex Media Awards took place at the National Theatre in Accra, the capital of Ghana on Saturday night to recognize hardworking media personalities.
Kwaku Oduro (KOD) of Kesmi107.1FM in Tamale won Sports Host of the Year 2020/2021 for Northern, North East and Savannah Regions.
This beautiful achievement caught the eye of the CEO of Muta’s Sports Academy, Muhammed Mutawakil and has today Wednesday 28th April 2021 gifted the Sports Broadcaster an amount of $100 as a token to recognize his hard work.
Charles Arthur, a member of Muta’s Sports Academy presented the money on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer and stated that, “As I present an amount of $100 to you from Muhammed Mutawakil, the CEO of our academy, I would like to convey a message from him to you. He says he is proud of you and the work you do and above all he is very very very proud of you as a member of Muta’s Sports Academy”.
“This money, he says is just a token for you to get some few drinks to celebrate your win and he is always praying for you to reach the top”. He added.
Kwaku Oduro on his part thanked the CEO and added, “I am happy to be a part of Muta’s Sports Academy. It’s a beautiful family with a great leader, Muhammed Mutawakil”.
Muta’s Sports Academy is a UK-based Sports Academy which has well advanced plans to set up in Tamale the Northern Regional capital of Ghana.
