Host of arguably the most listened to, Sport show in the Northern Region, Kesmi FM’s Kwaku Oduro (KOD) confirmed on his Kesmi Sports Chapter show this morning that the poor performance of Chelsea FC has affected his morning sports show. He stated that the number of comments and phone calls he used to receive have reduced.

Kwaku Oduro said, “Calls have reduced, texts have reduced”.

“I can confirm that Chelsea fans are the majority when it comes to supporting my show”. He added.

Rival supporters describe Chelsea fans as “noise makers” referring back to early December how Chelsea fans made them totally silent when Chelsea was on top of the Premier League and qualifying to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

According to rival fans, they have achieved what Chelsea is trying to achieve now as a result, no need to make noise.

Chelsea have lost five of their last eight matches leaving manager Frank Lampard under pressure to produce positive results or shown the exit door.

Many believe the legendary status of Lampard is what is still keeping him at post but football experts and fans are calling for his stay as fellow managers Mikel Arteta of Arsenal and Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjær went through difficult times this season.

Lampard and his boys have the opportunity to turn things around when they host Luton Town in the FA Cup, Wolves and Burnley in the Premier League.

Chelsea currently sits 8th in the league with 29 points at the end of the first round of the Premier League after spending more than £200m on new signings.
