Head coach of the Pride of the North Real Tamale Utd, Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko, says his side can still finish top of Zone 1 despite falling further behind in the race for qualification to the Premier League with a home draw against Berekum Arsenal on Wednesday.

R T U now is five points adrift of pacesetters B.A Utd after 2 games, but after watching a good display from his players, the Technical Director for the University For Development Studies (UDS) still believes he has the arsenals to top the Zone.

“(Can we) qualify to the Premier League? Of cause yes, with these materials we can make it” coach Tanko told Sey Mubarick.

“It’s not going to be easy but for sure we are going to finish top and qualify because that is my objective.”

” though we performed better than we did in the away game, and playing such an impressive game in front of your supporters was great but we still have work to do” he continued.

On the issue of supporters anger of strikers profligacy upfront, coach Tanko assured them that they should have patience and give the new guys some time to integrate into the team. He thinks if the team had prepared early the fans would have been smiling this time but that not withstanding he promised to deliver.
