Real Tamale United will resume pre-season training on Monday, October 5 ahead of the 2020/21 Ghana football season.
RTU finished the first round of the abrupt 2019/20 season in 13th place, as lack of preparations and financial challenges hindered their performances in Zone one of the Division One League.
And, after assurance of full support by the Board Chairman of the club, Dr. Issahaku Nashiru in an engagement with the team on Friday, the head coach has set the tone for the commencement of training ahead of the new season which kicks off in December.
Meanwhile, head coach Ibrahim Shaibu Tanko will be hopeful the club would have tied up some of their major transfer business before the season resumes, as the club continues to chase for quality signings of the summer transfer window.
The former Hearts of Oak and Medeama gaffer however pleaded with the Board to support management with cash to help them push for their agenda of qualifying to the Premier League.
