Covid-19 fight – Footballer Yakubu Leftey donates to Bilpeila community

The 25-year-old talented left footed player Yakubu Leftey who plies his trade in the Egyptian top flight league with Wadi Degla FC has joined the train of stars helping their communities to fight the coronavirus pandemic by donating a number of veronica buckets and hand sanitizers to the people of Bilpeila in the Northern part of Ghana to help his hometown people fight the disease.

The donation which was led by Zaa FM’s Head of Sports, Prince Mukadi and was given cola as the Bilpeila Malugu Naa at the Bilpeil Naa palace today.

Nyab Bilpeil Naa said when giving the cola ” I have been monitoring your programs since but is a great opportunity you are in my palace today and we are happy to have  you here with the team,we are honored to have you here, we will honor you because you are a leader and it will be nice to be Chief as custom demands ”

Mr. Seidu Fitter a medical practitioner who was with the team to the Paramount Chief’s palace educated the community on the right precautionary measures to take in the fight against coronavirus.

The Paramount Chief’s Nyab Bilpeil Naa and Anyab Nalung-Lana of Bilpeila after receiving the items on behalf of the people of Bilpeila thanked their very own grand son Yakubu Leftey for his kind gesture and remembering his roots at this crucial moment in the world by saying the donation has come at the right time when these items are needed the most by the people.
