President of Zetuna Babies Football Club, Ibrahim Dawuda has today been elected as the District Football Association Chairman for Sagnarigu Municipality. He has since sent a heartfelt statement to all stakeholders for their support.
In the statement the Chairman-elect wrote,
“I would like to express heartfelt thanks to you for your confidence in electing me as the DFA Chairman for Sagnarigu Municipality.
In the days leading up to the election, I spoke to many at their doorsteps and heard clearly your number one concern of ensuring a team work that will facilitate the development of soccer in the municipality.
To all stakeholders including media who came forward to assist with my campaign, I say a big thank you! We couldn’t have succeeded without you. Many of you spent hundreds of hours contributing to the campaign and I sincerely thank each of you.
To my fellow contestant Coach Alhassan Musah, I say Congratulations, this victory is not mine but for us all to continue working hand in hand this game as we have always did. I look forward to working with you as a team to advance issues of importance to our players and clubs.
