Real Tamale United play the highest-profile meeting of the opening weekend, against Bofoakwa Tano as Division One League Board releases fixtures for the 2019/20 season.
It will be the second time RTU meet the Greens on the opening day since their demotion into the tier two of Ghana Football. The first time the two met, RTU lost by 1-0.
The Pride of the North first home game of 2019/20 comes the following week when they tackle Berekum Arsenal at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Fans will no doubt already be anticipating the club’s meetings with City rivals, Tamale City, but will have to wait untill the weekend of 12th March, 2020.
The first city derby of the new season for RTU meanwhile takes place at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in early February as they play as guest to Steadfast.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side will finish the first round with a trip to Wa to engage Wa Sunta fc.
