Yendi based division one side, Gbewaa FC made a bright start to the 2019/2020 season of the Division One League after recording a hard fought 3-2 victory over Wa Suntaa FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
The victory, their first over their counterpart since gaining promotion into the division was recorded after Gbewaa FC twice came from behind.
Four goals in the first 35 minutes set the pace for an entertaining second half but it was Adam Sachibu who stole the show in the second half after Abdullah Razak and Abdullah Tijani had twice levelled for the home side.

If there is one player who symbolises the eruptive nature of Gbewaa FC just now, it is Sachibu.
Occasional flashes of genuine brilliance and some decent overall performances from him was what all made the difference in the game.
