Real Tamale United’s pre-season plans are yet to be finalized, with friendly fixtures being considered as Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko’s squad are expected back in training next week.
Coach Tanko’s side return to the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday for their second pre-season friendly with Tamale Select side, despite time being tight ahead of the new campaign, and so they’re looking at game time.
The Pride of the North had a brilliant start to their pre-season after beating Bolga All Stars 2-1 last week, but will now want to improve even further in their quest to end a seven-year absence from top-flight football in Ghana.
And to do so, they have drawn up their pre-season schedule to get their preparations spot on.
RTU will face a Tamale Select side on Sunday, as well as a return match against Bolga All Stars and Catholic Stars in early November.
The Lions will also face City rivals before planning an engagement with another division one team.
