RTU now embark on a 6 -day fixture congestion staying at the Aliu Mahama Stadium , and Bawa was disappointed not to have gone into the into staying at home on a higher note.

“To be honest I’m really, really disappointed especially with the way the games have been going recently,” the 24-year-old told Sey Mubarick.

“We haven’t been picking up too many points and today was massive for us with those infront of us dropping points.

“It seems to keep happening with teams around us dropping points and we don’t end up closing the gap and we are suffering from that. We needed to win.”

Real Tamale United’s next game in the Division One League is a crunch clash against Steadfast at Aliu Mahama Stadium on Thursday February 6.

“Steadfast is a massive game and one the club seem to love playing. I,m told RTU have played them a lot in this stadium with some pretty good results. I joined this season but hope to help continue that trend of winning against Steadfast” Bawa Samuel continued. Bawa has missed just one match since joining from Techiman City and has won the heart of the supporters already after some scintillating performances.
