DOL Preview: Paga Crocodile vs RTU – Pride of the North in search of second win

Real Tamale United face Paga Crocodile on Sunday afternoon, as the Blues look to extend their strong recent record at Paga Park.

Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko’s men have already tasted success in at the Boarder Town last season, thanks to an excellent 4-1 division one league victory.

The Crocodiles have lost at home this season already, their last home match ending 0-4 to Tamale City.

RTU will be hoping to put a serious dent in Paga Crocodile relegation fight when we they horns on Sunday and, ahead of the game, coach Tanko says he is looking forward to a beautiful game from his boys.

Crocodile recent results have been patchy with just three draws from their last six league games, which has seen them dropped to the bottom with three points.

RTU had not won in any of the first five Division One League clashes, with their most-recent victory coming on 8th February, when they beat Mighty Royals 1-0 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

That win on home soil have come at a premium for the Blues this season, who had picked up three points in just five of the league games they’ve played. The Pride of the North are 10th in the standings this term, having lost away to the likes of Nkuranza Warriors and Bogoakwa Tano.

A win for Real Tamale United will see than jumped to fifth on 9points with other results going their favour.

While Paga Crocodile will boost their survival chances with their first win of the season.
