Steadfast FC trained for the first time on Monday after the MTN FA Cup defeat to City rivals Tamale City last Saturday.
Coach Abdulai Abdul Mumin’s boys continued the training at the NOBISCO park on Tuesday morning ahead of their Division one league match against Techiman City on Sunday in Techman.
“We are focused on our next match and will not allow the defeat to affect us going into this big match. We are correcting our mistakes and are hopeful for the three maximum points come Sunday” Coach Abdul Mumin stated.
The most experienced defender and Captain of the team, Tia Zakaria was injured over the weekend and could not train with the team today. He remains doubtful for the away encounter while Ibrahim Adam will also miss the action due to suspension.
Steadfast FC hopes to recover from the defeat to Tamale City by getting an away win against one of the DOL Zone One favorites, Techman City on Sunday, 2nd February, 2020.
