Greek Super League side PAOK FC have announced the loan signing of Ghana international defender Baba Rahman from English Premier League giants Chelsea FC until the end of the 2020/21 football season.

The talented full-back passed his mandatory medicals earlier today before putting pen to paper on the deal with the Asprómavri as he is set to revamp his dwindling career for the rest of the season in the Greek top-flight.

A statement confirming the loan deal of the former Augsburg FC lateral stopper reads:

“PAOK FC announces the loan siging of Abdul Rahman Baba from Chelsea. The player will become a resident of Thessaloniki until the end of the season and will wear the number 21 shirt.”

The former Asante Kotoko left-back has so far been on loan at Schalke 04, RCD Mallorca and Stade Reims since he joined the West London based club from FC Augsburg in over five football seasons.

Baba has been spending time with the U23 side of Chelsea FC since he was recalled from his loan stint at RCD Mallorca prior to the start of this season’s league campaign.

He has 28 caps for Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
