Dreams Tamale star Baba Abdul Jalil has earned Black Starlets call up as New Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin continues his build up exercise .

Jalil was instrumental in the Division two League for Young Lions before switching camp to the newly Promoted Division One side, Dreams Tamale from Northern Region. Those who have followed this talented player are not surprised he has been drafted into the team currently in Prampram.

Head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin has bagun the tasked of building a formidable squad to compete for trophies as the U-17 has failed to win any major trophy over a decade.

The former Legon Cities gaffer hope the inclusion of Jalil will provide the perfect competition upfront as he searches for goal poachers for the National Team.

The 15 year old say he’s happy to get this opportunity and will work hard to grab positive headlines in the team. In an interview with sports24online.com, Jalil said he is excited about the prospect of playing with different players from other parts of the country.

“Yes there’s a few new lads as well in camp, and it’s their first time here too, so I’m really proud to share that with them and just to see how happy they are to be here as well as me.

“I’m only 15 years old. A lot of people have been pushing it, to play in the Black Starlets team much earlier, but I, m happy after a good season with Dreams, I have this chance.”

Abdul Jalil hopes to make it to the final squad as the search for talents continue across the Country.
