Ghanaian wonder kid Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has completed a move to English Premier League side Liverpool from Division One League side Steadfast FC.

The swashbuckling playmaker has signed a 5 year deal with The Reds.

Inside sources have disclosed that the deal is for a fee around £1.5m.

Fatawu is expected to be sent to Sporting Lisbon in Portugal for development until such a time that he can play for the Anfield side in the English Premier League.

The technically gifted player was inches away from joining German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen but a last minute switch went in the favour of Liverpool.

The 17-year old emerged the Best Player of the 2021 U20 AFCON tournament hosted in Mauritania two months ago.

With 8 goals in the Ghana Division One League, Fatawu prides himself as the top scorer of his side and was also the top scorer of the Zone One last season before the league was forced to a halt following the COVID-19 outbreak.

His wonderful strikes at the U20 AFCON hosted in Mauritania placed him under the international spotlight with several clubs believed to have approached his handlers for his signature.

The promising youngster who is currently a member of the Ghana senior national team, the Black Stars is expected to hit the roof with his stupendous talent.
