FC Savanah got a place on the list of players that were called to join the National U-17 Female Team. The club is represented by one of their key players Abigail Amorh (offensive Midfielder) who received a call up.

The CEO of the club, Madam Eunice expressed her feelings regarding the their players call.

“I’m very happy for the call up she got, it serves as a plus to the club and also it would give us a sense that we are making a head way if she makes it to the final list” she opined.

The current list of players stands at 42, and would be trimmed down after two weeks of training. This is in preparation ahead of the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women World Cup Qualifier in February this year.

The club unveiled their jerseys for the news not long ago at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium, where new players who have joined the team were also introduced.
