Head coach of Real Tamale United (RTU), Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko says his team still have a lot of room for improvement despite going 4 games unbeaten away this season in the Division One League.

Two goals from Mohammed Hardi and Fawzan Alhassan gave RTU a comfortable win against Wa Suntaa at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Saturday, meaning they are level on points with Berekum Arsenal at the top of the Zone 1 table.

RTU, have only conceded one goal in 4 away games, and are also the first side to pick 10 points on the road, but coach Tanko says they can improve.

Asked if there is room for improvement, he said: “A lot. Today we created chances we could have scored in our last game, that is the only thing I am concerned about. When we create we should score but we are trying. But in general I am satisfied, because we continue to be solid and create enough chances”

The former Hearts of Oak coach welcome his midfield Dynamo Sadat Mohammed back into the team after missing their weekend victory over Suntaa. “For now, we want to enjoy this game, and then we start to think about next games. We have won three and drawn one of the four games we have played away games, against tough teams – but we know exactly how tough it would be here today after they lost their last game” coach Tanko said.

Real Tamale United will take on Mighty Royals before welcoming Berekum Arsenal this weekend in an explosive encounter at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium.
