After an impressive end to the first round of the Division One League, RTU return to training after a one-week break to begin preparation for the start of the second round of the 2020-21 League season.

Team RTU were given a week’s break after a hard fought 2-1 victory away to Unity FC in Kenyansi on Sunday 4th April.

The players are expected to use the few days to fully refresh, recuperate and re-energize, before returning to training at the Nobisco Park, this Saturday, 10th April, 2021 to begin earnest training ahead of the league’s resumption.

The Pride of the North have rediscovered their form after picking 30 points in 15 games to end the first round 3rd, 1 point adrift of Leaders Berekum Arsenal on the Zone 1 League table.

Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko’s side have demonstrated their readiness for Premier League Football next season after picking valuable points away from home, something the club haven’t achieved since their relegation in 2012-13.

The technical team is expected to have a full house as recovering players are to join their colleagues on Saturday. RTU is will travel to Techiman to face City.
