Real Tamale United will hope to continue their fine form in the Division One League this season when they welcome Kintampo FC to Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The second period of the Campaign is well and truly underway, and as the temperature plummets across the country, the heat of the action just continues to mount. One of the more intriguing match-ups in Gameweek 17 of the Division One League Zone 1 will see a renewal of proceedings on Sunday when Real Tamale United play hosts to Kintampo FC.
The Pride of the North have put a horrendous 2019-20 campaign behind them and have now gannered 33 points on the log, same with leaders Steadfast after 16 round of matches.
Kintampo Fc , on the other hand, have blown hot and cold since the start of the season. Yakubu Osman’s charges have managed to win four of their last six games in the competition , a run of results that has left them 11tg on the table, although they come into this game on the back of a crucial 0-0 draw with Tamale City earlier this week.
Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko has been handed a major injury boost ahead of the visit of Kintampo Fc. On Sunday, the former Hearts of Oak boss is likely to have a full-strength squad at his disposal, with Kwajo Poku, being the only player who is sidelined.
The good news comes in the form of Mohammed Sadat’s possible return, with the former Steadfast midfield dynamo returning after missing last week’s game due to suspension.
Real Tamale United beat Kintampo Fc 1-0 the last time these two sides locked horns at the Rawlings Park.
