The Division One League continues this weekend with eight games across Zone 1. Two of those games are on Saturday with majority of the week 14 games coming on Sunday.

The week commences with Real Tamale United looking to get back to winning ways after last week derby defeat to Steadfast.

The Pride of the North, seeking to return to the Ghana Premier League after eight years in the wilderness of Division One, are just three points behind leaders Berekum Arsenal with two games to wrap up the first round.

And ahead of the clash with Gbewaa FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium, assistant coach Kwajo Whyte says his team are on fire and ready to pick all three points.

At the Sunyani Coronation Park, out of form Nsoatreman FC will welcome Berekum Arsenal in a bid to record an upset to end a two game winless run that was initiated by a 4-0 humiliation last time out against Kintampo FC.

Elsewhere, Steadfast who have stayed unbeaten in their last five matches travel to the Boarder Town of Paga to engage struggling Crocodile Stars with the aim of building a first Premier League promotion momentum.

Two promotion contenders will battle for the points as Mighty Royals welcome Bofoakwa Tano in an intriguing encounter at the Wamanafo Community Park. The two have been impressive so far but it is the home side who hold an advantage as they are yet to lose in their last 6 games at their favorite ground.

At the Nkoranza Children’s Park, Nkoranza Warriors will face off with inform Kintampo FC. With inconsistencies characterizing the last five matches of the home side, it is highly likely they will go all out to ensure they come out victorious at the end of the 90 minutes.
