The 2021 Division One League season continues this weekend with the fourth round of matches expected to be honoured. Three sides will be looking to extend their perfect starts to the season as they are separated by fixtures for the weekend.

We should also be in for a real treat when Yendi Gbewaa face Bofoakwa Tano in a match that promises plenty of goals.

It’s been an eventful week for RTU, needing to pull off a massive comeback to get the three points from Nkoranza Warriors on Sunday to make it back to back victories.

With six points this season so far with an outstanding game still to be honoured, the Northern Blues will be desperate to pick up all three points when they travel to Sunyani to engage Young Apostles.

It won’t be all that easy though with the home side looking good so far and already beating Nkoranza Warriors and Nsoatreman FC.

If nothing else, we’ll see an angry, motivated Tamale City after a post full-time whistle against Kintampo FC on Thursday, cost them two points.

The problem for them though is, they face an Nsoatreman side that has won just one of the three matches played so far.

All things considered this one is quietly setting up as a really intriguing match as the home side look to return to winning ways.

On current form, you have to like the value on offer for backing against Wa Suntaa FC.

The Upper West team has been in sensational form so far but didn’t offer a whole lot against Nosatreman but had a bit of luck and managed to escape with the three points last week against Techiman City. Meanwhile their opponents for week 4, Kintampo FC are still searching for answers, as they lie bottom of the league with no win in three games.

Nkoranza Warriors will have spent all week wondering how they blew a 1-0 lead to RTU to lose 2-1 at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium, and how to not make that same mistake this week as they welcome Crocodile Stars from Paga.

The away team picked up its first points of the season with an uninspiring 3-0 win over Kintampo FC and are confident going into this game.

Mighty Royals have gotten off to a flying start this year and they are clear favourites to account for Techiman City this weekend, while Former Black Stars player, Gargo Mohammed still searches for his first win of the season.

Steadfast have lost lost two and drawn one of the three games under his watch but a win will put away any pressure from fans as they are desperate to get the three points at home against. B. A United.

Yendi Gbewaa FC are host to Bofoakwa Tano at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Saturday.
