Real Tamale United midfield dynamo Mohammed Sadat is in contention to face Asante Kotoko on Wednesday, RTU’s last 0-1 defeat to Medeama last Sunday due to suspension.

Sadat, (The Lion) picked up his third yellow card in RTU’s win away at Berekum Chelsea last week and after seeing his side lose their first home game is ready to start against the Porcupine Warriors in week 8 of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium.

The former Steadfast player was instrumental in the Pride of the North qualification back to the Premier League and had played all first six games of the season, a third yellow card at the Berekum City Park saw him missed the home game against Medeama.

However, Mohammed Sadat may return to the fold in midweek as RTU search for their second away win. Sadat was in fine form before his suspension, one of RTU’s stand-out players so far this season.

This will come as a boost to Coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko, who had to field a midfield of Abdulai Hafiz and Stephen Dankwah Badu against Medeama SC, in a match the Director Of Sports at the University For Development Studies, UDS, said RTU deserved to have won after another fine display.
