Ghana Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah has indicated that the doors are still opened for new FC Barcelona signing Kevin Prince Boateng to be part of his team.
In a post shared by Gary Al-Smith on his facebook page after speaking to the coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah said, “looking at how Kevin [Prince Boateng] is playing now, if he should write a letter to apologise, I’ll invite him because it is about the country not about any individual”.
Kevin-Prince Boateng becomes the first Ghanaian in the history of Barcelona and the 14th African to wear their shirt.
The 31-year-old completed his move to the Catalan club on loan at the end of the season from Italian Serie A side, US Sassuolo on Monday evening.
Barcelona have paid €2m as a loan fee for Boateng and have a purchase option for €8m if they want to keep him after the summer.
