Top scorer in the ongoing Women’s Unity games in the Northern Regional Town of Kunbungu, Alhassan Rafiatu says she’s ready for the big tasks of filling the vacuum Mukarama Abdulai left as the commencement of the National Women’s League looms.

The former Fabulous Ladies striker has hit the headlines after scoring four goals in the competition to lead the goal queen chart for Northern Ladies.

Though she admits filling the shoes of Mukarama is going to be a big task, the fans wouldn’t miss her so much. ” I’m ready for it as you can see, I have four goals already in this competition and all a striker need to do is to score goals. Muka has left a huge vacuum but I can step in so the fans won’t miss her” Rafiatu said.

“Our utmost target is to win everything here since we are a premier league side. We would be disappointed if we don’t win the trophy”, she continued.

After scoring a hat- trick against Dahisheli yesterday to take her tally to four, Rafiatu is now targeting the goal queen awards. Northern Ladies have won three out of three and will play Nasara Ladies on Monday.
