The annual Kesmi Love Walk took place yesterday in Tamale, the Northern Regional capital with the aim of bringing together listeners, fans, clients, associates, staff and the general public to exercise, have fun, socialize and network. The love walk is an annual event put together by the radio station every year – February to be specific.
Speaking to Sports24online on the day the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Kesmi FM, Mr. Kessie Musah Ibrahim indicated that the Kesmi Love Walk is a very important event on the calendar of the radio station because it is strategically positioned within the first quarter of the year to bring all stakeholders together so that the plan and vision of the station for the year could be sold to them while having fun.
He added that “Our brand is refreshingly different from what the Region has witnessed since the liberation of the airwaves. We combine a comprehensive and credible news function, backed by innovative listener-driven on air programmes and exciting promotions with vibrant audience participation like what we do with the Kesmi Love Walk”
The General Manager of the radio station, Kwaku Oduro echoed that, “Kesmi FM is committed to providing Quality Services in Content and Packaging to the market through our experienced and highly qualified Staff”.
He continued that, “We are poised to lead as a major player and market leader in Northern Ghana and beyond through competitive network of information gathering, processing and dissemination and one of the ways is through the Kesmi Love Walk. With this always in mind in our six years of operation, we have become one of the successful brands in the country”.
Ewurama Attoh who is in charge of Event and Programmes and also doubles as the Marketing Manager, ceased the opportunity to call on clients and prospective clients to believe in the Kesmi brand.
She assured them that “We give you value for money. We discuss with our clients what their needs are so we design a customized package for their businesses so as to get the needed results.
We are expanding and continuously improving our services to our customers by Building Creative Radio Programmes that will enhance positive social interaction amongst our listeners, as well as build a team of well trained and motivated Staff ready to deliver each step of the way”.
It was a successful exercise and the most patronized in terms of turn out since its inception.
