Two of Africa’s footballs giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Asec Mimosas of Cote D’ Ivoire will renew their rivalry in this year’s Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Cup match.

The match scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 26, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, is in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary celebration of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who ascended the throne 20 years ago.

A statement from Primeval Media organisers of the match said, the two age long rivals would be on display to honour the great king, who has served Asanteman for two decades.
It said the match forms part of activities marking the 20th Anniversary celebration of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and both sides are expected to feature their top and regular players.

The Porcupine Warriors would be targeting another cup triumph over their West African rivals especially with the return of their former striker, Ahmed Toure to his favourite venue.
