Kotoku Royals President and an EXCO member of GFA Linford Badu Asamoah donates undisclosed cash to support Colts in Kumdi

Seasoned football administrator, club owner of Kotoku Royals and EXCO member of the GFA, Linford Badu Asamoah has donated footballs and an undisclosed amount to rejuvenate juvenile football in Kumdi, a community in the Northern region. Eight teams Participated in the AB’S Educational and Sports Consultancy U-15 tournament.

The move forms part of his personal plans to reviving colts football in the Eastern region and across the country with the feat expected to be replicate across the 16 regions.

In a WhatsApp message sent to the organizers of the gala, Mr. Linford said, “I am a grassroots person, I believes the future of Ghana football is hidden in colts and that any move that will support Colts league will help football at large”.

Already the veteran football administrator has organized the Eastern Cup for the colts teams, Division one, two and three which was a successful one and he is expect to continue with the Eastern Cup this season.

My Boys from West Bank were crowned Champions of the one day juvenile gala after beating Bamkaba Football club through a marathon Penalty shoot out following a goaless draw game played at Kumdi School Park on Friday afternoon.

The one day gala competition was organized under the auspices of the Managing Director of AB’S Educational and Sports Consultancy Mr. Abraham Nsesunkpah in collaboration with Indomie Ghana aimed at promoting grassroots football and unearthing talents found in the area.

AB’S Educational and Sports Consultancy and Indomie Ghana presents products plus footballs to My Boys for winning the competition.

Bamkaba fc, runners up of the gala were awarded with Indomie products and football.

Each semi-finalist was give football in addition to one box of Indomie each given to 8 Participated in the tournament.
