If there is any national team coach in Africa who is currently enjoying the fullest support ahead of the AFCON 2019 then it is nobody apart from Black Stars Coach Kwasi Appiah.
Aside the massive backings he is given by football fans in the country, it has been observed that most of his former playing mates and other retired Black Stars players are giving him the necessary assistance from all angles to attain great heights.
To pundits and connoseuirs of the game, it is really a sign of better things to come as the Black Stars gear up for AFCON 2019.
Coach Kwasi led the Blacks Stars to an awful performance in the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup where Ghana was shown the exit for the first time at the group stage.
He was sacked following that disappointment and was re-appointed a couple of years ago.
Mayele as he is popularly known is working together on the Black Stars technical bench with ex-national stars like Ibrahim Tanko, Maxwell Konadu, Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingston.
Recently Coach Kwasi Appiah was spotted at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the company of Kotoko legends including Papa Arko, Ernest Appau, Kofi Badu and Michael Osei.
With this unflinching support from Ghanaians, Coach Kwasi Appiah definitely has a huge responsibility to guide the Black Stars to a fruitful trip in the AFCON 2019.
The Black Stars have won the Africa Cup of Nations four times in 1963, 1965, 1978 and 1982.
All their effort to triumph again on the continent over the years have hit a snag. Ghanaians are counting on Coach Kwasi Appiah and his Stars to break the jinx this time round.
