Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC have tested all players and staff for COVID-19 and all results came out negative. This, the club says is in preparation towards the Ghana Premier League restart.
“We have conducted a COVID-19 test for all our players and staff and by the grace of God it all came negative” – Legon Cities Shareholder Fred Agbenyo told Atinka FM
“How much is $80? If we have done it, then gov’t should support other clubs to test their players too” – He added.
The Ghana Football Association is engaging its stakeholders on the future of the current season and has announced it will make a decision on July 30.
