Ghana striker, Abdul Majeed Waris seems to have played his last game for FC Nantes and not sure but optimistic about what the future holds after sharing a touching thank you message to FC Nantes on his official Facebook page.

He wrote, “I am honoured to have played a part of the history of this great club.

Just want to say a big thank you to the president Mr Waldemar Kita and Frank Kita for having the trust, and giving me the opportunity to fight for the jersey of FC NANTES

I will also like to thank the fans for showing me love and making my time there memorable.

Lastly I will like to thank the coach, the medical team, the players and everyone involve in my development here.

Time to get few days off and prepare for the AFCON.

With the future only GOD knows”.

Waris was on loan from Portuguese giant FC Porto.
