Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has declared Brighton the BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD.
Guardiola has made it no secret he’s a fan of Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi.
And today he doubled down, stating: “The reality is that we are six points behind (Arsenal), nobody guarantees that we will win our pending game against the best team in the world building the game, the best team is Brighton.
“There is no other team that does the process of getting the ball to the last quarter of the field better, there is no better team in modern football right now.
“We haven’t done anything different, but we’re the second most regular team in the league, so it’s not too bad either. Our problem is that Arsenal have been fantastic so far. They are doing very well, but we are not doing badly either.
“I don’t think it’s a disaster if we don’t win the league. We are there, but someone better than us and we just have to accept it, admit it and move on.”
