Manchester United could turn to Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi if they fail to sign Jadon Sancho.
United have tracked Borussia Dortmund winger Sancho for months in the hope of securing a summer deal.
But the Red Devils fear Dortmund will price them out of a deal by demanding an exorbitant fee tof the 19-year-old.
The Daily Star says Hudson-Odoi could be an alternative for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 19-year-old has not played as much as he would like under Frank Lampard after signing a new five-year deal with the West London club.
However, any deal for Hudson-Odoi would also cost United a massive transfer fee.
