Mboma City FC is a juvenile club based in Navrongo. The founder Mr. Azanlerigu Cherry Mboma started the One Football Boot, One Child Project after a player of the club was nearly knocked down by a car because the went to town to look for a job to enable him buy a boot.

Management took it up as an initiative to get boots for the players from philanthropic persons and organisations.

So far the 1B1C is getting a good response as the club has gotten some boots from well-wishers.

Mr. Francis Richluv Roy and his friend donated 10 pairs of football boots, Mr. Osman (a police officer stationed in Paga but a player in his days ) donated 3 pairs of football boots. Others include Cazoo, Mr. James and Mad. Elizabeth all made donations of boots for the project.

On receiving the donations from the well-wishers, the founder could not hide his joy as his main reason to set up the club was to get the kids away from the streets. And to cap it with a successful project like this after using his salary to run the club all these years made him shed some tears of joy.

He thanked the donors and pray that the good Lord will replenish them in billions what they have given in charity.

He concluded by asking for more just like the proverbial Oliver Twist.
