The media accreditation request procedure for CAF events depends on the type of event: press conferences, inter-club competitions, African Nations championship, African Cups of Nations, finals…Only registered users of the CAF Media Channel can apply for accreditations for CAF events and competitions.

This piece of information is intended to help media practitioners and non-rights holder broadcasters apply for accreditation for our events.

The media accreditation and reservation request MUST be submitted through the media portal, the CAF Media Channel accessible through our platform www.cafonline.com/mediachannel

MEDIACHANNEL-01

The language of the Media Channel is English

For the CHAN Total Cameroon 2020, here is what you need to know:

  • If you are already registered as a media, media professional or broadcaster on the CAF media portal:

a. Make sure your profile is up-to-date with your personal information, photo, contact details, valid press card, identificaion document…

b. Apply for your accreditation by clicking on the link provided.

  • \\ If you have not yet registered on the CAF Channel,** but you are a media professional or a broadcaster working with / for media support as a permanent or freelance writer / editor:

a. You must first of all complete a registration form in the CAF Media channel through the website www.cafonline.com/mediachannel

b. Then request accreditation as an individual user by clicking on the link of the requested event indicated in the Media channel

Incomplete or late registration requests will not be processed. Requests using special characters will be rejected.

You must enter your first and last names exactly as on your identification document

Shortlisted media practitioners will receive a confirmation letter at the venue of the event which will serves invitation to cover the events per CAF media rules.
