Barcelona ace Lionel Messi hailed Cristiano Ronaldo‘s performance for Juventus‘s stunning Champions League win over Atletico Madrid.
Ronaldo hit a hat-trick to fire Juve into the quarterfinals 3-2 on aggregate.
After scoring twice in victory over Lyon, Messi said: “I thought that what happened with Cristiano and Juventus was incredible.
“I thought maybe Atletico would be stronger, but Juventus overwhelmed them and Cristiano had a magical night with the three goals.”
Barca joined Juve in the final eight after routing OL 5-1.
