The father of Lionel Messi is meeting with Barcelona officials today to discuss his contract.
An agreement has been in place for several days over a five-year deal, with Messi currently a free agent.
Mundo Deportivo says Jorge Messi will meet face-to-face with top level Barca officials today to finalise the agreement.
The contract will take Messi up to 39 years of age, with a playing agreement to run to when he is 37.
The final two years will cover Messi when he is expected to move to Miami, where he will be employed as a Barca ambassador.
