Ghana international midfielder Mubarak Wakaso put up a man-of-the-match performance at the Jinzhou Stadium for his Chinese Super League club, Jiangsu Suning in their 2-1 win over Dalian Pro.
Wakaso was very key in midfield for his and lasted 70 minutes on the pitch before being replaced by Ivan Santini. his absence in midfield was felt as Dalian Pro started to enjoy some possession in that department and in the 74th minute were rewarded with a goal scored by Brazilian Alex Teixeira.
Five minutes later in the 79th minute former West Bromwich Albion striker, Salomon Rondon equalized for Jiangsu Suning.
Jiangsu then finally got the winner from the spot-kick scored by Italian Eder in the 84th minute.
Wakaso’s Jiangsu Suning are now 2nd on the CSL table with 7 points from 3 games, 2 points less than leaders Guangzhou Evergrande.
