Ghana international midfielder Mubarak Wakaso’s Chinese Super League club, Jiangsu Suning continued their great start to the CSL Season with yet another convincing win yesterday at the Yuexiushan Stadium.
They beat Guangzhou R&F 2-0 on the road with all goals scored by Brazilian Alex Teixeira in the 22nd and 35th minutes respectively. Jiangsu Sunning did not enjoy greater possession but made very good use of the chances that came their way.
Guangzhou R&F should have had a consolation goal in the 59th minute from the spot kick but Jiangsu goalkeeper Chao Gu saved Eran Zahavi’s kick.
Mubarak Wakaso lasted 88 minutes before being replaced by Ang Li.
